Spiritual Formation at the Heart of Learning

True education forms the soul as well as the mind. At Ocoee Classical Academy, spiritual formation is not an add-on but the animating core of every class, discussion, and relationship. We desire that students not only know about God but grow to know Him personally through His Word and His world.

In every subject, Scripture serves as the lens through which we view truth. Students learn to pray reflectively, meditate on God’s character as revealed in mathematics and literature, and respond to the Great Books with hearts shaped by the Gospel. Through Socratic dialogue, they practice articulating their faith with both conviction and charity.

Our prayer is that graduates leave us with:

  • A deeply rooted Biblical worldview
  • Affections trained toward what is good, true, and beautiful
  • A habit of seeking Christ in all things
  • The ability to live and speak as faithful witnesses in their generation

Spiritual formation happens best in community. Weekly gatherings, mentor relationships, and partnership with parents create an environment where young people are lovingly challenged to grow in Christlike character and joyful obedience.

“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord” (Colossians 3:23). This is the spirit in which we teach and learn together.
