High school is a pivotal time for students. They are in the midst of their most formative biological and cognitive development while simultaneously navigating social reorganization.

During these four years, individuals transition from the structured world of childhood to independence on the cusp of adulthood.

During the High School Years:
Synaptic Pruning Occurs: the brain “trims” unused neural connections while strengthening those use most frequently, effectively “hard-wiring” habits & skills developed during this time.
