At Ocoee Classical Academy, mathematics is more than computation—it trains the mind to see order, pursue truth, and solve problems with clarity and creativity. We believe the study of mathematics reflects the faithfulness and intelligibility of God’s creation.

For Pre-Algebra, we use Singapore Math Dimensions Level 7. This program builds strong conceptual foundations through the proven Concrete–Pictorial–Abstract approach, moving students toward confident abstract reasoning and genuine number sense rather than rote procedures. Every chapter emphasizes problem-solving with real-world contexts, multiple strategies, and increasing challenge, helping students develop flexible thinking and perseverance.

Dimensions Math 7 assumes students are ready for new pre-algebra topics (such as integers and simple equations) while extending further into algebraic thinking than a traditional pre-algebra course. Thoughtfully designed workbooks and built-in differentiation support mastery for all students while stretching strong thinkers—making it ideal for our hybrid model. Parents receive clear guidance so home days feel purposeful.

Students emerge with strong logical reasoning, analytical habits, and renewed confidence—prepared for Algebra 1 and equipped with intellectual virtues that serve them in logic, science, and life.
