1. The Triune God
We believe in the one living and true God, eternally existing in three equally divine Persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—who know, love, and glorify one another. He is the infinite, sovereign Creator and Sustainer of all things and the ultimate source of all truth. He is omnipotent, omnipresent, and omniscient, limited only by His own perfect nature and character.
Scripture: Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; Colossians 1:16-17; Revelation 4:11
2. Divine Revelation and Holy Scripture
We believe God has revealed Himself through the created order and supremely through His Son, Jesus Christ. He has graciously disclosed His will in the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments. These Scriptures are the verbally inspired, inerrant, and infallible Word of God, serving as the final authority in all matters of faith, morality, and practice.
Scripture: Psalm 19:1; 2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21; Hebrews 1:1-2 3. The Person and Work of Jesus Christ
3. The Person and Work of Jesus
We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, His miraculous virgin birth, His sinless life, and His substitutionary atonement on the cross through the shedding of His blood. We affirm His bodily resurrection from the dead, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His certain return in power and glory to judge the world and consummate His kingdom.
Scripture: John 1:1, 14; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4; Philippians 2:5-11; Titus 2:13 4. Mankind and the Fall
4. Mankind and the Fall
We believe that human beings, male and female, were created in the image of God to glorify Him and care for His creation. However, through the rebellion of Adam, the human race fell into sin, resulting in spiritual death, alienation from God, and corruption in every aspect of our being. Apart from Jesus Christ, all individuals are lost in sin and justly under God’s wrath.
Scripture: Genesis 1:26-27; Romans 3:23; Romans 5:12; Ephesians 2:1-3
5. Salvation by Grace Through Faith
We believe salvation is a free gift of God's grace, initiated by the Father and secured solely through the finished work of Christ on the cross. This salvation is received through faith alone, apart from any human merit or works, and is applied to the believer by the Holy Spirit who regenerates, indwells, and seals us for the day of redemption.
Scripture: John 3:16; Ephesians 2:8-10; Titus 3:5; 1 Peter 1:3-5 6.
6. The Sanctity of Human Life
We believe all human life is sacred, possessing inestimable worth as it is created by God in His image. Dignity and full personhood begin at the moment of conception and continue through natural death. We are called to value, protect, and defend all human life, including pre-born children, the elderly, and the marginalized.
Scripture: Genesis 9:6; Job 14:5; Psalm 139:13-16; Proverbs 31:8
7. Marriage, Gender, and Sexuality
We believe God wonderfully and immutably creates each person as male or female, two distinct yet complementary sexes that together reflect His image. We believe "marriage" is divinely defined as the uniting of one biological man and one biological woman in a single, exclusive covenant union. Any form of sexual intimacy outside of this biblical marriage is sinful and contrary to God’s design.
Scripture: Genesis 1:27, 2:18-25; Matthew 19:4-6; 1 Corinthians 6:18-20; Hebrews 13:4
8. Compassion and Dignity
We believe that every person must be afforded compassion, love, kindness, respect, and dignity as an image-bearer of God. While we uphold biblical truth, we repudiate all hateful or harassing behavior and attitudes, seeking instead to speak the truth in love and live as agents of reconciliation in a broken world.
Scripture: Mark 12:28-31; Luke 6:31; Ephesians 4:15, 32; 1 Peter 3:15
